Important: All documents must be submitted electronically. Applications are reviewed within up to 5 business days.
Chapter 4. Grounds for refusal
- the media outlet is not listed in the official register;
- the required documents are not provided;
- there is a court decision that has entered into legal force.
Chapter 5. Suspension and withdrawal
- the rules are violated repeatedly, meaning two or more times in one year;
- the editor-in-chief files a formal request;
- a court issues the relevant decision.
Note: A decision to suspend or withdraw accreditation is taken by the CCS Director on the recommendation of the Accreditation and Ethics Commission.

Event regulations – define how CCS press events are organized and conducted.
Types of events
- Briefing
- A short press session where ministers or agency heads provide timely updates. Duration: 30–45 minutes. Questions may be submitted in advance in writing or asked live.
- Press conference
- An extended press meeting with senior officials. Duration: 60–90 minutes and includes a dedicated Q&A block.
- Round table
- A discussion format involving experts, agency representatives, and journalists on a defined topic. Duration: 90–120 minutes.
- «Сөйле» platform
- A direct public-dialogue format. The event is planned by CCS, and accredited journalists receive full access.
Registration and admission
Registration is handled through the electronic system no later than 24 hours before the event starts. The number of accredited journalists may be limited according to registration order. Notices about new events are sent through the personal account.
Conduct at events
Accredited journalists must remain in assigned areas, follow the event procedure, comply with staff and security instructions, and make audio or video recordings only in permitted zones.
Accreditation and Ethics Commission – an advisory body under CCS. It forwards recommendations on accreditation matters to the CCS Director.
Commission composition
The Commission has 7 to 9 members. At least half must represent the media community. Meetings are held quarterly or whenever needed.

Operating rules
The Commission may meet when a quorum of two-thirds of members is present. Decisions are taken by open vote. A recommendation to withdraw accreditation requires a qualified two-thirds majority. Commission members serve two-year terms and may be rotated.
Ethical standards
Accredited journalists attending CCS events must follow professional ethics, avoid knowingly false information, observe audio and video restrictions, and use accreditation certificates personally rather than pass them on to others.
